Scandinavian style is pretty easy to recognize – from white walls, natural light, wood floors and modern furniture, it always has a classic minimalist feel to it. As a proud Dane (and Ikea shopper) I incorporated some Scandinavian inspired decor into my own home, so here are the 5 easy and creative ideas I used to get a simple holiday look.

To me, this quote is so helpful to remember. We all know by now that we live in a society full of advertisement overload. It can be pretty effortless to get sucked into the unrealistic (and just plain ridiculousness) perception that a women’s value comes from being pretty, flawless and chic.
Reading has become one of my favorite pastimes. Few things are better than curling up on the couch with some herbal tea and a good book on your lap to make the day feel complete. Books are a great way to keep your learning endless and your imagination creative.
